1. High-power Suppression
Common jammers block mobile phone signals by transmitting interference signals. By transmitting certain frequency’s high-power signal, the surrounding electromagnetic environment is severely damaged, and the mobile phone cannot normally obtain and analyze the signal from the base station. Therefore, it realizes the purpose of jamming the mobile phone signal.
Under normal circumstances, when mobile phone enters a cellular net for the first time, the local base station will update the mobile phone position and assign it a new temporary user info. After receiving the base station information, the mobile phone determines its exact location. When signal jammer is working, it sends out interference signal, which interferes with the effective signal of broadcast channel frequency on the base station. The interference signal increases the bit error rate of the mobile communication channel and reduces the signal/noise ratio of the channel, therefore affecting the effective reception of the mobile phone from base station. When the signal/noise ratio is reduced to a certain extent, mobile phone is failed to decode the broadcast information from the base station, then it lost connection with the base station. As it cannot determine its service area after many attempts, mobile phone will display No signal and out of service.
2. Signaling-level Intelligent Jamming Technology
Signaling-level Intelligent Jamming Technology is also called pseudo base station mode. The device scans the public network signal through its scanning antenna, and then blocks the public network base station signal through signaling level instructions. By simulating the public network base station signal, it transmit fake base station signal to the mobile phone. When the jammer is working, user’s mobile phone signal can be forced to connect to the jammer, making it impossible to connect to the correct public communication network.
